AMBER Alert Canceled for 8 Month Old Michigan Girl

The State of Michigan canceled the Amber Alert early Monday (04-06). No information is available on the condition of the child or the status of the suspect. The Amber Alert was issued earlier Monday morning after the child was reportedly abducted late Sunday night (04-05) in Flint. The child was believed to be in extreme danger.

Lameyaha Darnee Washington a Black female, 8 months old with black hair and brown eyes and weighs 16 pounds. She has braided hair, a birthmark on the right side of her stomach and silver studded earrings. She was last seen wearing a pink long sleeved shirt and blue jeans with yellow and pink butterflies design.

The suspect is Shardee Simpkinson an 18-year-old Black female, 5'7", 140 lbs. with brown eyes and short black hair. She was last seen wearing gray shorts, black and gray flip flops and a pink winter coat with a fur-lined hood.

There is no suspect vehicle at this time.
