The State of Colorado canceled the Amber Alert Saturday morning (04-23) after the children were found safe in Kansas. Both suspects are in custody.
The State of Colorado issued the Amber Alert early Friday (04-22) after the suspect abducted the children in Federal Heights Thursday afternoon.
Celena Romero, a white female, 11 years old, 5' 1", 90 pounds with green eyes and blond hair. She was last seen wearing a black jacket with jeans. She reportedly wears heavy makeup and appears to be 18 to 19 years old.
Charlie Romero, a white male, 7 years old, 4' 3", 50 pounds with blue eyes and blond hair. He was last seen wearing a Denver Broncos jacket with jeans. His hair is shaved on sides with a mohawk.
There are two suspects. Tammy Anne Rees-Romero is a 35 year old white female, 5 feet, 3 inches tall and 140 pounds. She has red, shoulder-length hair. Jacob Lawrence Lake-Sahm is a 22 year old white male, is 5 feet, 9 inches tall and weighs 130 pounds. He has short brown hair and a short beard.
The suspect vehicle is a 1997 maroon Mercury sedan with Colorado license number 618-SZM.
