Amber Alert Canceled for 5 Year Old South Carolina Girl

The State of South Carolina canceled the Amber Alert Wednesday afternoon (07-14) after the girl was found safe in Lee County. The suspect remains at large. No further information is available at this time.

The State of South Carolina issued the Amber Alert Wednesday(07-14) after the girl was abducted from her home in Hartsville late Tuesday (07-13). The girl is believed to be in extreme danger.

Justice Alexanda Deja Peterson, a Black female, 5 years old, 4', brown eyes and black hair. She was last seen wearing a Wearing multicolored shirt and shorts.

The suspect is Kimberly Anne Steene, a White female 25 years old, 5 feet 4 inches tall, 98 pounds now with red hair.

The suspect vehicle is a dark colored SUV.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Darlington County Sheriff's Office at 843-398-4501 or dial 911.
