The State of Texas canceled the Amber Alert Tuesday afternoon (12-01) after the boy, and the suspects son, were recovered safe in Houston's 3rd Ward area. The suspect is in custody at this time. No information on possible charges is available at this time.
The State of Texas issued the Amber Alert Tuesday morning (12-01) after the boy was abducted in the Sage Mont area of Houston on Monday afternoon (11-30). The suspect has a criminal record and a history of drug use. It is believed that the suspect's 2 year old son is also with them.
Andrue Jankwitz, a 3 year old Hispanic male weighing 40 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing blue hoodie, blue jeans and Spider man croc shoes.
The suspect is Ricardo Erasmo Hale, a 31 year old Hispanic, 5' 8", weighing 170 pounds with brown hair and eyes.
The suspect vehicle is a gray 2002 Chevy Suburban with Texas tag number PHX463.
